Refund Policy
Expert Rug Cleaning

At Expert Rug Cleaning, we take pride in providing professional rug cleaning, repair, restoration, storage, and related services. Because rugs are unique and services are customized, the following refund policy applies.
1. No Guaranteed Results
Rugs vary widely in age, construction, materials, dyes, and condition. While we use professional methods and industry best practices, specific results cannot be guaranteed.
Refunds are not issued based on:

Personal preference

Subjective expectations
-
Incomplete restoration of pre-existing damage

Color fading, wear, or fiber loss caused by age or prior conditions
2. Cleaning Services

Cleaning services are non-refundable once performed.

If a customer believes a cleaning concern remains, we must be notified within 7 days of delivery.

At our discretion, we may offer a re-cleaning or adjustment, not a refund.
Refunds will not be issued for:

Odors that persist due to permanent contamination

Stains that cannot be removed safely

Color variation caused by unstable or natural dyes

Damage resulting from pre-existing conditions
3. Repair & Restoration Services
Repair and restoration services involve manual labor and irreversible processes.

All repair and restoration services are final and non-refundable once work has begun.

Minor variations in color, texture, or appearance are normal and not grounds for refund.

Structural integrity and longevity are prioritized over cosmetic perfection.
4. Deep Decontamination & Odor Removal

Deep decontamination aims to neutralize contaminants and odors but cannot guarantee complete odor elimination in all cases.

Refunds are not issued based on residual odor perception.

No refunds will be provided after decontamination services have been performed.
5. Storage Services (Rug Vault)

Storage fees are non-refundable once the storage period begins.

Early removal from storage does not qualify for partial refunds.

Storage fees must be paid in full before rug release.
6. Pick-Up & Delivery Fees

Pick-up and delivery fees are non-refundable once service has been scheduled or completed.

Missed appointments due to customer unavailability may incur additional charges.
7. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of scheduled pickup or service.

Late cancellations may be subject to a service or pickup fee.

Services canceled after work has begun are non-refundable.
8. Deposits

Deposits, when required, are non-refundable once work has commenced.

Deposits may be applied toward approved services but cannot be returned as cash or credit.
9. Disputes & Resolution
If a concern arises, we encourage customers to contact us directly so we can review the situation and determine whether a reasonable solution is possible.
Any resolution offered is at the sole discretion of Expert Rug Cleaning and may include:

Re-cleaning
-
Adjustment
-
Service credit (not cash refund)
10. Acceptance of Policy
By authorizing services with Expert Rug Cleaning, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Refund Policy.
